Founding Executive Partner Matt Gnatek, is a highly decorated 28-year police veteran.  Matt has spent the last eighteen years working as a Detective Sergeant in the Detroit Police Department’s Homicide Section.  Matt manages 10 Homicide Detectives and is responsible for investigating all homicides in the Detroit Police Departments Western District.  Matt has worked in the coveted Tactical Response Unit, tasked with targeting high crime areas through directed patrols and enforcement to specifically impact violent crime.   Matt has worked in undercover operations while assigned to the precinct special operations unit as well as moonlighting as a Private Investigations for the last decade.  Matt currently serves as an elected pension board trustee and fiduciary for the 3.2 billion dollar Detroit Police and Fire Pension Board, responsible for managing the retirement plan for over 12,000 Detroit Police Officers and Firefighters.
